Quick flomo is a third-party browser extension for flomo, a Chinese app for short notes. In the side panel it writes a summary, builds a GB/T 7714 citation and collects vocabulary. Then one click sends it to flomo.

The side panel makes a summary with one click and suggests 3 to 5 tags. Summaries and tags use credits. Free gets 60 credits a month. Pro gets 600 a month.
Send what you read back to flomo
The title, link, summary, your thoughts and the citation go into one note. Sending uses no credits. You need your own flomo record API.
Look up words right on the page
Select a word to translate it. See the pronunciation, meaning and examples. Add it to your vocabulary with one click.
Saved words show up on other pages
Words in your vocabulary get an underline on any page you read, so you meet them again in new context. This is a Pro feature. Free holds up to 20 words. Pro has no limit.
Review due words in the side panel
Vocabulary Review uses the SM-2 algorithm to schedule reviews. For each card, pick “Don't know yet,” “Hard,” “Know it” or “Too easy.” This is a Pro feature.
Citations written to the 2015 standard
When you open a web page, the extension reads the title, author and publication date. It makes a GB/T 7714 web citation and sends it to flomo with your note. This is a Pro feature. The live extension uses the 2015 version. The citation generator supports both.

Frequently asked questions
Quick flomo is a third-party browser extension made by an independent developer. It is not an official flomo product. It sends web notes to your flomo account through your own flomo record API.
Partly. flomo lists the record API as a PRO feature, so sending notes to flomo needs flomo PRO. Summaries, translation, vocabulary and review do not depend on flomo, so you can use them without setting up the API.
It supports Chrome, Edge and other Chromium-based browsers. Phone browsers cannot install this kind of extension. You can send the install link to your computer.
Notes sent to flomo go straight to the flomo address you set up, and we do not store them. When you use AI summaries and tags, the article text passes through our service to an AI provider. The privacy policy says it is not stored. Your account email and vocabulary list are kept under your account.
Upgrade on the extension's settings page. Monthly and annual passes bought with Alipay do not renew automatically. Card and PayPal subscriptions renew automatically. You can manage them on the billing page.
