What goes into one note

All of this is prepared in the same side panel. You can edit the summary, thoughts and tags before sending. Leave one empty and it won't appear in the note.

Title and link
Read from the current page when you open the side panel. To change the title, edit the note in flomo after sending.
Summary and tags
Click “AI Summary” to make a summary. It also suggests 3 to 5 tags. This step uses credits.
Thoughts
The few sentences you write yourself. This is the part of the note most worth keeping.
Citation
When you tick the box, it makes a GB/T 7714 web citation. This is a Pro feature. See how citations are written
Selected text
You can send without opening the side panel. Select text and send it from the floating button or the right-click menu.

Setup takes one address

Copy the record API from flomo and paste it into the extension's settings page. This address works like a key, so don't share it with anyone.

flomo states that this feature requires flomo PRO membership. That is flomo's own membership, separate from Quick flomo Pro. Without flomo PRO, summaries, translation and vocabulary still work. You just can't send notes back to flomo.

How it differs from web clipping

Clippers usually save the whole page. Quick flomo keeps only what you need: a short summary, your thoughts, tags and a citation that leads back to the original.

Questions about sending to flomo

  • No. Credits are used only for AI summaries, tags and translation. Sending is free on both Free and Pro.

  • Notes sent to flomo go straight to the flomo address you set up, and we do not store them. When you use AI summaries and tags, the article text passes through our service to an AI provider. The privacy policy says it is not stored.

  • Not yet. For now, only text.

  • First check that the address is complete and starts with https://flomoapp.com/. Then check that your flomo PRO is still active. If it still fails, click “Feedback” at the bottom of the side panel to email us.
